Update on Criminal Trial Involving Edmonton Police Constable Alexander Doduk.
The trial phase has concluded, and the Justice has instructed the jury to deliberate. Presently, the jury has returned to court with two inquiries.
Firstly, did Detective Anderson testify that Constable Doduk declared ‘you are under arrest’ to the victim?
Secondly, ‘can we revisit the radio call wherein Constable Doduk requested 10:17 (officer needs assistance) as the jury wishes to assess whether fear was evident in Constable Doduk’s voice?’ The jury has been sequestered to a hotel until tomorrow morning when they will continue to deliberate at 9am
